Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We simulate a sound wave propagation in the uniform turbes with a cross scction of vocal tract given by MRI data and a elliptic cross section with the circumference and the area equivalent to the cross stecion, and compute vocal tract transfer function and radiation impedance. Both of the results are almost the same, therefore our approximation method using elliptic cross section is useful. Moreover, we simulate sound wave propagation in some uniform tubes with elliptic cross section, and compute radiation impedance. From the simulation results, in the imaginary part, the radiation impedance of more flattened tube is decreased at almost the same ratio every frequency, but in the real part, there is a frequency of pivot, the impedance is incrcased in lower frequencies and decreased in higher frequencies. freql1cncy.
