| 抄録(和) | 聴覚的オブジェクトの持続時間が音響的中断の存在によって縮小して知覚される現象について、中断の挿入位置、中断による連続感の程度が与える影響を調べた。もともとの持続時間が180msである定常純音の開始後30,50,70msの時点から50msの区間を、純音の周波数を中心として上下にそれぞれ132Hzの範囲に、2、16、128Hzの刻みで成分を持つ中断音で置換し、持続長に対する主観的等価点(PSE)を測定することにより縮小効果を調べた。その結果、中断挿入位置の効果は確認されず、中断音のスペクトル密度が低くなるにつれて縮小量が増加することが確認された。この効果を説明するためのモデルとしてクロック・パルス・ゲート・モデルを提案する。 |
| 抄録(英) | Apparent duration of an auditory object shrinks when it is acoustically interrupted. Effects of the temporal position of acoustic interruption and effects of the continuity by acoustic interruption was investigated. A 50-ms portion of a 180-ms, 1kHz pure tone was replaced by several interrupting sounds. The interruption was inserted at 30-, 50-, or 70-ms point from the beginning of the pure tone. Interrupting sounds have spectral components within a 264-Hz bandwidth centered at 1kHz at every 2-, 16-, or 128-Hz. While there was no significant effect of the temporal position of interruption, the spectral density significantly affected the amount of PSE shift. The less continuous the auditory object was perceived as to be, the more the shrinkage was. A "clock pulse gate model" is proposed and discussed with these phenomena. |
