| 抄録(和) | 前報(倉片他,1994)に引き続き,周波数変化音に対する連続聴効果の検討を行なつた.まず,聞こえた音を被験者に作図してもらう作図法により,雑音中の音の知覚的軌跡を調べた.その結果,雑音の開始点と終了点の周波数を結んで単純に補間するのではない,複雑な連続聴効果を示す反応が得られた.そのような複雑な連続性の知覚を引き起こす要因の一つには,周波数変化を追跡し,その後の軌跡を予測する聴覚系の機能が考えられる.この点を明らかにするために,雑音前の周波数変化音の長さを,別の周波数変化音と比較させる心理実験を行なった.その結果,前者の長さが過大評価される傾向が見られ,上記の仮説が支持された. |
| 抄録(英) | The continuity effect was investigated using a noise preceded and followed by a frequency glide to confirm the results of our previous study (Kurakata et al.,1994). The perceptual trajectory of the glide during the noise was obtained by drawing method, in which subjects were asked to express by drawing a line what they heard. The drawings showed that they did not simply interpolate the two frequencies of the glide at the beginning and the end of the noise, but seemed to perceive more complicated continuity One of the factors which elicited this complexity of the continuity may be an psychological process which traces the frequency change of glide and predicts its subsequent trajectory. In order to examine this hypothesis, psychoacoustic experiments were conducted in which subjects were asked to compare the duration of one glide with that of another followed by a noise. The results indicated that the glide with the noise was overestimated as the hypothesis suggested. |
