Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Auto-study method, which was proposed to utilize speech data without phoneme labels, can be considered a semi-automatic labeling system. We carry out comparison between auto-study derived label and manually given label in terms of efficiency for phoneme recognition, and in terms of the policy of phoneme segmentation. As a result, it is cleared that the former gives as high performance as the latter, suppressing the insertion errors by moving the phoneme boundary so that, the vowel segment includes the transitive part.
