Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we describe a model of global FO shape for Japanese text-to-speech systems. In general, parameters which are obtained from syntactic and semantic analyIn this paper, we describe a model of global FO shape for Japanese text-to-speech ssis are used in a model. However, syntactic and semantic analysis is not easy to realize and it is difficult to represent syntactical context with simple parameters. We proposed a global model which is integrated Fo shape generation and syntactic analysis. Our model is represented as a network of which states shows syntactical and prosodic states of sentences. In the model a linguistic class of an input phrases decides an state to move and a phrasal accent parameter for a local model is generated when taking transition. We also proposed the training method of the network. The prediction results showed our model can predict phrasal accent parameters with high accuracy. |
