| Abstract(in English) | The International Symposium on Musical Acoustics 1997 (ISMA '97) took place at The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland on 19-22 August 1997.The meeting was organized in association with the Institution of Acoustics (UK), the Catgut Acoustical Society and the European Acoustical Association.On August 22, several joint sessions were held with the Galpin Society on Historical Musical Instrument Acoustics and Technology.About 100 invited and contributed papers were presented, covering all areas of musical acoustics.An outline of this meeting and each abstract of almost presented papers are reported. |
