Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A synthetic waves concatenated by a specific speaker's syllables (/V/and /CV/ only) generally sound unnatural. This research proposes a method to produce Japanese speech words as natural as possible by using specific speaker's syllable wave forms. We make a rule for generating prosodic information for improving naturalness of a concatenated wave forms. In this research, we use the PARCOR analysis and synthesis method for smoothing phoneme characteristic.
