Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) If the HRTF can be interpolated, not only data reduction but also the reconstruction of natural movement can be realized. In this paper, two interpolation methods of the HRTF on the horizontal plane are investigated. The methods are a simple linear method and a method using principal components analysis. The performance of interpolated HRTF are evaluated by sound localization tests. The results show that the good performance are obtained by using interpolated HRTF.
