Abstract(in English) In process improvement activities based on the Capability Maturity Model, there are many tasks that a project leader must perform to achieve targeted maturity levels. Pproject leaders, however, not only tend to be busy, but also differ in terms of individual judgment and experience. As a result, it is not that simple to achieve uniform improvements among different projects. As one approach to solving this problem, we have developed a PLAS. In PLAS, information associated with earlier projects like know-how and various examples of form entries are collected and stored as a Knowledge Base that can be provided equally to all project leaders via the Web. This has the effect of reducing the amount of work required to establish plans and perform assessments as well as making the contents of such activities more uniform. In this paper, we propose requirements and conditions with respect to PLAS and a method of configuring the KB to satisfy them.
