| 抄録(和) | 近年, ビデオ会議や仮想空間を用いた電子会議など遠隔会議を支援する研究が盛んに行われている.ビデオ映像では相手の存在感を十分に表現できないという問題が生じる.また, 仮想空間を用いて会議を行っても多くのユーザが参加すると一人一人の姿がよく見えないという問題がある.会議など話し合いをするときには相手の姿が見え, 相手の存在感を感じて意見を交換することが重要である.そこで本稿では, 仮想空間を利用するシステムに注目し, 特に大多数のユーザが参加している場合でも, 発言者の姿を確認できる仮想空間の提示手法として, 自動ズーミングと自動ロケーティングと呼ぶ手法を提案する.自動ズーミングでは, 広い1つの仮想空間で会議を行う場合には発言者付近を拡大表示している.自動ロケーティングでは, 複数の狭い空間からなる仮想空間で会議を行う場合には発言のあった空間に随時表示を切り替えて表示している.さらに筆者らがこれまでに提案した空間提示手法であるIBNR(Image Based Non-Rendering)で構築した仮想空間を用いて, 電子会議をWeb上で実現するシステムの実装を行ったので, そのシステムの構成について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently, there are many studies which support remote conferences such as video conference and teleconference using virtual spaces. In video conference systems, it is geneally difficult to represent the existence of other participants. On the other hand, in conference systems using virtual space, participants cannot clearly see each other when many users participate in the conference. In this paper, focusing on teleconference system using virtual spaces, we propose presentation methods, called auto-zooming and auto-locating, of a virtual space where each participant can see the speaker, even if there are many participants in the virtual space. In auto-zooming, when a conference is held in a single subspace, the subspace is zoomed in to show a bigger image of the speaker. In auto-locating, when the conference is held across multiple subspaces, the subspace which contains the most recent speaker is displayed. We also describe our teleconference system on the web using virtual space constructed by IBNR (image-based non-rendering), the virtual space representation system which we have proposed previously. |
