Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we build a robot system that can recognize and manage objects in office by processing images from a camera and by taking interactive communication with people. It needs tweo functions to build such a robot system. The first function is dynamic recognition of environment, and the second is interaction with people. The robot can autonomously obtain physical knowledge like size, shape and color of objects by processing images from its camera. Since the robot cannot obtain conceptual knowledge of object like name and function, the robot provides an interface for people in order to obtain such knowledge from people. We examined it by an experiment that the robot could effectively use knowledge obtained from the environment and human. Thus the robot system can support knowledge sharing among the robot, the environment, and human.
