| Abstract(in English) | For development of knowledge-based systems, it is important that a development environment has an affinity with knowledge processing, high portability of application programs and practical functionalities. We have been developing a development environment called INSIDE (INtelligent Systems Integrated Development Environment). INSIDE has an abstract machine based on Prolog and fundamental libraries at central as kernel. Application programming languages, Prolog and Lisp are built on the kernel. Knowledge-based systems are developed using the application program language. This paper clarifies requirements of development environment for knowledge-based systems and describes the design and implementation of INSIDE about memory management, data representations and program representations. |
