Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a object-oriented model which is specific to building structures and structure editing operations, and discusses the model on an compiler implementation for generating experimental architectural CAD systems from the model-based specification description language. The model of structures provides minimality, constructibility and comprehensibility of software specifications. These features would encourage architectural designers to describe specifications of CAD systems by themselves. On the other hand, the operation model requires a lot of descriptions because of procedural description, although the model is useful for describing formulas of design operations. A nonprocedural model of design operations should be studied in the future.
