| 抄録(和) | NTTが運営するインターネット向けディレクトリサービスであるNTT DIRECTORYサーバについて、WWW-RDB連携部に2階層で構成されるキャッシュを適用した。その結果、75%以上のヒット率が得られた他、検索条件の出現間隔の分布とヒット率の関係や、各キャッシュ階層でのヒット率の違いに関して知見が得られた。また、本キャッシュの導入によりRDB検索結果を複数ページに分割して表示する事も可能となった。 |
| 抄録(英) | The dual layer cache mechanism are applied to WWW-RDB co-operation service of a part of NTT DIRECTORY, the Internet directory service by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone corporation. As a result, the hit rate of the cache is more than 75%. And the knowledge about (1)the relation between the distribution of duration of the query condition and the hit, (2)the reason about the difference of the hit rates between primary and secondary cache, was derived. Also the cache mechanism enabled to show the retrieved data from the database on multiple pages. |
