| Abstract(in English) | The worldwide big project of ITS is overviewed from mainly technological point of view. One of the most serious problems in the present traffic situation is the congestion problem that causes a big social loss. The research works have been carried out on this matter to decrease such a loss in the large. These are simply overviewed. The author's work on the dynamical analysis on the road traffic flow at a single intersection is briefly introduced, which has clarified the congestion growing and dissolving process. |
