Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The friction surfaces generate an induced voltage depend on relative motion. Because of this, the action of electric and magnetic fields on the friction surfaces cannot be ignored. The author has performed tests on the influence that magnetic fields exert on electromagnetic field tribology, and on effects of friction control by adjusting induced voltage. Combinations of ferromagnetic material and ferromagnetic material, ferromagnetic material and non-ferromagnetic material, and ferromagnetic material and diamagnetic material were used as the wear test materials.
