Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Metal surfaces such as Cu and Ni were treated electoro-chemically in order to remove the oxides layer, and tried to synthesize the self assembled monolayer(SAM) on metal. Tribological evaluation tests were conducted quantitatively by using the AFM system. Cu surface with SAM showed lower friction coefficients than that of non-treated surface, and there small difference between non-treated surface and electro-chemically treated one.
