Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ag, Pd, Ag/CdO12wt% cntacts mounted on a small electromagnetic relay were rested in a DC30V-10A resistive circuit as the make-only-contacts and the break-only-contacts. In this experience, we measured some electrical characteristics of make-only-contacts and break-only contacts and observed the transferred pip on contact surfaces. Transferred pip was grown on the anode in Ag and Ag/CdO12wt% and grown on cathode in Pd. The shape of the pip varied for each material. The pip height is in inverse proportion to the foot diameter of pip. We expected that as the diameter grew bigger, the bounces became less.
