| Abstract(in English) | A trend and our development for opto-mechanical switches was reported. Two different types of optical switch are described. One is low loss direct connection switch using optical connectors or optical fibers as switching elements, the other is high speed switch using linear motor and an GI fiber collimator array. This switch was archived 40 msec for 1×64 scale. |
