Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the last report the author investigated the fretting behaviours of non-noble metals at a range of relative high cycle rate. In the present paper he studies the degradation of nickel plated contacts through a range of low cycle rate. This study has been carried out by using a heat cycle method as a lowest cycle-rate test. The condition of high contact resistance is realized in early stage when the mode of intermittent current flow is used with this method.
