Abstract(in English) The Ag/Sno_212wt% contacts mounted on a sma11 electromagnetic relay are tested in a dc30V-10A resistive circuit as the make-only-contacts. In this experience, some electrical characteristics of make-only- contacts have been measured and the shape of a growing pip which is piled on a local anode surface by each of making arcs have been taken many photograph records. According as the number of make-only-operations increases, the heigh "H", diameter of foot "Df" and diameter of half-height "Dh" of growing pip become larger, and the shape of pip changes from the cone type to the column types. In 100,000 make-only-operations, When a transferred pip grows up to a given height, it suddenly collapes. Before and after the pip collapes, the number of bounces, the duration and energy of making arc, and contactresistance are diffcrent.
