Transmission characteristic of low voltage swing IC with a cable

Abstract(in English) By advancement of semiconductor technique, the interface IC which can transmit high speed signals in low consumption power is being produced. Such IC have a low voltage swing because of consideration of EMI, so noise margin becomes small. So enough evaluation is necessary to decide we can transmit or not by transmission distance and speed. So, I observed waveform transmitted by LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) interface IC with the cable and confirmed deterioration of transmitted waveform, and evaluated transmission distance and transmission speed. As a result, I got prospects that I can transmit 13m in 200Mbit/s.
