Theoretical analysis of metal island multilayers for cube multiplexers

Abstract(in English) Optical properties of silver island layers greatly change with island shapes and inter-island distance. For multiplexers with a cubic shape, we have theoretically investigated the optical characteristics of silver island multilayers. It is shown that the optical characteristics of the multiplexers, such as bandwidth and cross-talk, are controlled by the structural parameters of silver island layers.
