Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The arc duration and the contact resistance at every contact operation were measured in Ag and AgCdO_12wt% contacts. Measurements were carried out under the source voltage 48V constant and resistive load. We varied closed contact current from 0.4 to 3A to change the transition ratio from metallic to gaseous phase arc. As a result, transition boundary closed current value of AgCdO was smaller than that of Ag. Moreover, we found a correlation between metallic and gaseous phase arc and contact resistance in Ag contacts. However, the change of the contact resistance that corresponded to the metallic and the gaseous phase arc was not found in AgCdO contacts.
