Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have been investigating on contact arc sustaining conditions with respect to contact opening speed and electrode temperature dependency. Contact materials are Ag and Pd which thermal conductivities are much different each other, that of Ag is much larger than that of Pd. Electrode temperature dependency has been partially known so far by the authors' experiments, especially on the Pd contacts, but not clear on the Ag contacts. More sophisticate investigations were made on the Ag contacts in this paper, and we could have some results which qualitatively showed the electrode temperature dependency on the Ag contacts.
