Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Chemisorption and tribochemical surface reactions were studied under sliding conditions. The thin lubricant on magnetic recording disks decomposed during sliding even at 0.1 N of load.Nascent surfaces formed by sliding affected the decomposition.Nascent gold surfaces were found to be so high active that olefins and benzene chemsorbed on the surface even at room temperature. The chemisorption activity was dependent on the electronic structure of functional groups and metals.
