Abstract(in English) | This paper describes the electrode erosion and deformation caused by breaking arc.The movement characteristics of cathode spot for Au,Ag,Cu and Ni contact were obtained from results photographed by a high-speed camera.The differences of the cathode spot behavior for each material were discussed by the movement characteristics and microscopic observation on the trace of cathode spot by the original method.This paper showes that the contour and configuration of the real crater for each material agree with results forecasted from the cathode spot behavior and estimated by Monte Carlo simulation for the cathode spot behavior. |
