Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the characteristics of short gap discharge in N_2 + NO_x + hydro-carbon(C_nH_m) gases as a fundamental study on NO_x dissociation. Hydro-carbon gases employed in this work were CH_4 and C_3H_8, and the content of hydro-carbon gases was changed 250 to 3,000 ppm. And, the characteristic was also measured in 100% for hydro-carbon gas. The starting potential, V_s, and the discharge voltage, V_g, depend on P・d-product. V_s can be shown as similar as characteristic explained by Paschen's law. The value of V_s decreases with increasing the content of hydro-carbon gas. This paper discussed whether hydro-carbon gas acts as Penning effect gas.
