Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Gold often has been used as the surface layer of electrical contacts in small current circuit. Gold adheres easier than other metals, so gold electrical contacts easily have the contact opening failure. We measured the adhesive force of gold electrical contacts under conditions changing the number of sliding operations and contact forces, in order to investigate factors that effect on adhesion of gold electrical contacts. As a result of this experiment, we observed that the adhesive force increase with the number of sliding operations but saturated over certain operations.
