Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The arc duration, metallic phase duration, transition ratio to gaseous phase, and boundary closed current (transition ratio 50%) were experimentally studied in Ag and AgCdO12wt% breaking contacts. Experiments were carried out under the variation of source voltage E (24,36,48 V), and closed contact current Io (0.4-0.6 A). As a result, the transition period which arc voltage change continued was observed in AgCdO contacts. Moreover, transition boundary closed current value of AgCdO was smaller than that of Ag. In addition, the transition boundary was almost corresponding to the current vale which the metallic phase duration time increased rapidly.
