Abstract(in English) | We have developed seven types of SC type fixed optical attenuator between 3 to 30dB with a simple structure using Co-doped fiber. We have confirmed that there is little fluctuation in attenuation between wavelengths of 1.3μm and 1.55μm, high input power endurance, and high environmental durability. The simple structure allows us to produce these fixed optical attenuators at a lower cost than conventional metal thin-film type fixed attenuators. |
