Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many investigations have been carried out to realize reduction of connector assembly cost maintaining high-performance characteristics. This paper describes the improvement of easy assemble SM connectors based on sub-assembled plug structure. These connectors feature no key-adjust design, simple assemble by adhesive holding and pre-dome polishing, and meet the axial pull requirement of Bellcore requirement TR-326. These results satisfy the system requirements and verify the potential applicability of the standard connectors.
