Abstract(in English) This paper discusses our newly developed EDFA modules for 8-channel transmission systems. EDFA modules for multi-channel transmission system should have flat gain characteristics. We improved gain flatness by optimizing EDF, and using our new optical components including gain equalizers, which passively equalize gain variance of EDF. Excellent characteristics ; signal output power of +17dBm, noise figure of 4.4~5.1dB and gain flatness of 0.13~0.38dB are achieved in our test production of 16 modules
