Abstract(in English) Speckle noise in an optical fiber is one of the most annoying problems in treating a coherent light, and it is influenced by a miss-matching in optical axis and a deformation due to imposed load to the fiber. In this study, in order to apply the optical fiber to sebsor, the speckle noise pattern was observed by using digiral image measuring system. As the results, by using the digital logic operation technique, quantitative extraction and characterization of the speckle noise pattern could be made possible, when the imposed load and temperature were changed.
