| Abstract(in English) | We have studied the protection method of silver plated specimens from the tarnish. We found the two step coating method effective. On the first step, the surface of silver plated specimens was treated with conventional lubricant of solvent type. After drying, on the second step, organic thin film was formed on them. Accelerated test results of short time were not coincident with exposure test results of long duration. We considered that the exposure test was suitable for the evaluation test of the tarnish. |
