Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Applicabilities of composite materials containing layered solid lubricants to sliding contacts were studied. Performances of several composite materials prepared by incorporating such solid lubricants with the basic alloys of Cu-Nb System and Cu-Sn system were investigated for the suitabilities as the contacts. As the results, it was clarified that the composite materials based on Cu-Sn alloy were superior to those based on Cu-Nb alloy and that the composite materials containing only WS_2 and not containing MoS_2 were more effective in reducing both the contact resistance and the coefficient of friction. The relations between contact resistance and coefficients of friction were investigated basing on these test results by proposing the new sliding contact models of the composite material contacts.
