| Abstract(in English) | We are studying an optical active connector with O/E or E/O Conversion module for high-speed interconnection between cabinets or units of broadband switching systems. This paper describes simplex and duplex MU-type sub-modules with photonic devices and plastic molded receptacles. These sub-module are one of the mainly parts for small size optical-active connector. These sub-modules have good optical coupling efficiency. Furthermore, the sub-module for photo-diode (PD) dose not need alignment and zirconia precision sleeve. |
