Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | A function which can cut an undesired surge current beyond absolute maximum ratings due to electric noise is needed in a circuit using an optical metal-oxide-semiconductor(MOS) relay. To realize this function, a current limit circuit which consisted of a n-p-n transistor and a resistance was introduced into an optical detector driver with Dielectric Isolation technique. By using this driver, a current limit of 222mA was achieved and an optical MOS relay which can suppress the surge current was realized. This effectiveness was verified by confirmation experiments against the surge. |
