Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this work authors are researching how condition of discharge is the suitable me for NO_X dissociation when we apply a short gap discharge(SGD) for NO_X dissociation. So, we measured the change of the starting potential of SGD as a function of time in N_2 and N_2+NO(1011ppm) gases with changing gaseous pressure in the discharge chamber, P, and load resistance, R_L, as parameters. As results, authors could find that the starting potential decreases with a lapse of time and increases with increasing gaseous pressure. The suitable condition of discharge for NO_X dissociation was discussed from following two relations ; (1)the relation between input power and the power consumed in load resistance, (2)the relation between ionization coefficient of electron a/P, and the electric field, X/P.
