Abstract(in English) The contact resistance of electrical sliding contact was continuously measured for making clear the relationship between the contact resistance and current flow through the contacts. And the consequence of the contact material was investigated. In addition, the digital image measurement system was applied to damage analysis on the contact surface which was developed by the authors. As the result, the different relationship were found between the contact resistanace and the contact material. And due to the current flow to the contact, the contact resistance could be made lower level, and the damage on contact surface was analysed.
