Abstract(in English) | In this paper, the electromechanical coupling coefficients (k^2) for the piezoelectric gyroscope are simulated by the Finite Element Method and compared with experimental data. The conventional fork type LiTaO_3 piezoelectric gyroscope has the unnecessary k^2 of driving electrode to f_z mode and detecting electrode to f_x mode due to asymmetrical electrodes on right and left arms. Therefore, we propose the new H-type gyroscope which consists of a driving fork type resonator and a detecting H-type resonator. The experimental data of input impedance of driving and detecting electrodes for the new H-type sample agreed with the EEM analysis. |
