MCM Connector for High-Speed Signal Transmission and Large Power Supply

Abstract(in English) Important issues for developing Multichip module (MCM) on telecommunication equipment are high-speed signal interconnection and large power supply. We developed a stack type MCM connector suitable for these issues. This paper describes simulation and measurement results for signal transmission and power supply. We confirmed that this connector can transmit high-speed signal from 600Mbit/s to 1.2Gbit/s and supply 9A/power-blade.
