Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Ag/Cd11wt% contacts mounted on a electromagnetic relay are used in a dc30V-10A resistive circuit as the make-only-contacts. In this experience, we measured some electrical characteristics of make-only-contacts and observed the shape of pip which was piled up the anode metal by anode dominated arcs. According as the number of make-only-operations increases, the size of pip grows thicker and higher, and the external shape of pip changes from the cone type to the mountain type with round heads. We will discuss in this paper the relationships between the pip growth and arc duration per bounce at a make-operation or contact resistance.
