Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Heart rate and activity (body acceleration) time series are physiologic signals that can easily be obtained noninvasively and nonrestrictively. In this talk, the recent advance in statistical analyses of human heart rate and activity time series is introduced, with a special emphasis on whether modem signal processing techniques could be used to detect/diagnose neuropsychiatric and/or psychosomatic disorders, and to evaluate psychophysiological stress in humans under their "free-running" condition.
