Improvement of image quality on Reconstructive Method of Reflection Index Distribution by Ultrasonic Cone-beam for home health care

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a reduction method on the influence of center frequency of ultrasonic pulse wave shifting to lower frequency during it travels in vivo. For home health care, we suggested an Ultrasonic Cone-beam CT system that can reconstruct 3-D reflective index distribution image in a bathtub automatically. On this system, it is a problem that the received data is noisy due to using cone-beam. The received signal S/N is supposed approximately 5[dB]. To solve this problem, Wiener filter is used for de-noising. However, this filter that uses the incident pulse wave can't estimate reflective index because the center frequency of ultrasonic pulse wave shifts to lower frequency during it travels in vivo. To this problem, we suggest the method using Coefficient of Cross-correlation with multi-frequency pulse wave. Simulation results show that it is possible to estimate reflective index by Coefficient of Cross-correlation using multi-frequency pulse wave and reconstruct a high quality image by this method.
