Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have reported the gene isolating method by using the metal coating hollow fiber membrane which was coated the membrane surface with metal. Herpes simplex virus was concentrated in the metal coating hollow fiber membrane, and then the isolation of viral gene by electric field effect was examined. As a result, the target gene of the virus was detected from 5×10^3 virions/ml of the viral suspension. It is possible to apply this gene isolation system to the examination in the early stage of the viral gene.
