Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We introduced a mathematical method originally proposed by Ranger(1976)for analysis of potential field around non spherical hemi spheric biological particle. The solution for the Stokes equation was set by Abelian type integral equation. According to the method of Collins(1963), the analytic solution was obtained by series expansion of the Legendre poly nomials. The unknown coefficients of the series were determined by the boundary conditions between the spherical cap and surrounding tissue. For the expansion angle α=π/2, the potential increased as the radial position. The potential, however, was significantly influenced by the changes in circumferential angle of the measuring point. The present method will be available for evaluating the dynamical behavior of the neural transmitter with non spherical structure approaching to the receptor.
