Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a fan beam-type microwave CT aiming at high speed imaging of a biolofical target. For the practical measurement of biological targets howeve, data acquisition time is desired to be reduced as much as possible. In this study, the arrangement of the receiving array-antenna elements has been so determined that the distance between the transmitting-and receiving-antenna elements becomes equal regardless of the element antenna positions. Thanks to this configuration, projection can be recorded as the time series data by using an AD converter. Due to this, we can collect all projection data very quickly. To develop the improved scanner, the Richmond code that is used to analyze a liner antenna in a lossy medium has been utilized. Moreover, by comparing the experimental results with the reconstructed images obtained by FDTD-based simulation the rationality and usefulness of the new fan beam scanner have been verified.
