Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Some activities of the human brain are caused by brain signal sources, e.g. visual, auditory and sensory. The properties of the sources can be identified with the technique of brain source localization from EEG. Brain source localization is an important inverse problem in medical diagnoses and brain function analyses noninvasively. In this study, we identified the properties(position, moment)of the sources with the model of current dipoles by neural network. In order to investigate the usefulness of neural network in clinical application, the training method with noise is applied to the sources localization. The developed technique is then applied to clinical EEG data analysis for auditory evoked potentials.
