Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, an evolutional generation scheme of walking patterns for a hexapod robot using genetic algorithm is considered. To generate the suitable walking pattern which leads the hexapod robot to the goal, the phase shifts among the legs are coded as gene, and are tuned by the genetic algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed scheme is effective to generate the adequate walking pattern.
